Terms of Use

1. The service

Meltylum offers free team tools (icebreaker questions, This or That, kudos messages, live votes) that work instantly with no account. We may change, limit, or discontinue any tool at any time - it is a free service with no uptime commitment. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the tools for unlawful, harassing, or hateful content.
• Probe, overload, or bypass our rate limits and abuse protections.
• Misrepresent Meltylum content as your own product, or imply our endorsement of your messages.

Live vote links are yours to share; anyone with the link can vote. Ending a room is the host’s responsibility.

3. Content ownership

Our question banks, designs, and copy belong to Meltylum. You are welcome to copy tool outputs into your team chat (that is what they are for). Anything you type into the tools - names, shout-outs, messages - remains yours; by using the tools you allow us to display it back to you and, for live votes, to the people you share the link with. Nothing else.

4. No warranty and limitation of liability

The service and all outputs are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without any warranties of any kind, express or implied (including accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose). Since the tools are free, to the maximum extent permitted by law Meltylum and its operators have no liability whatsoever for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise — arising from your use of the service, any content generated or shared, or any actions of other users. This includes (but is not limited to) any kudos, votes, or messages created by others.

5. Intellectual property

All Meltylum branding, designs, question databases, UI, and code are our exclusive intellectual property. You may use and share the outputs of the tools (icebreakers, kudos, votes) for personal and team purposes and include a credit to meltylum.com where practical. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, modify, and use any content you input or generate through the service.

You may not scrape, copy, or commercially exploit our tools, question banks, or brand without explicit permission.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Meltylum, its founders, operators, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (i) your violation of these Terms, (ii) your use or misuse of the service, (iii) any content you create or share using our tools, or (iv) your violation of any third-party rights.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves (for example when the Meltylum bot or new tools launch). We will update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted. Your continued use of Meltylum after the new date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Meltylum shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Spain. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Before filing any claim, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us.

9. General

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive it. We may assign these Terms.
